Seen on a sign at the office of a lactation consultant: "If nursing in public offends you, feel free to put a blanket over your head." Hehe, isn't that great?
That is hysterical! Yesterday, Preston & I read something about a magazine that came out last month(a parent one) that had a baby nursing - & apparently there was a huge uproar about how vulgar it was - seemed natural to me - but there was a comment from a reader(lady) that said "I don't want my husband or son to see a breast that they did not want to see" Preston & I both think - that it really is her that doesn't feel comfortable for it. I am all for breastfeeding - but I do believe in a little modesty too
I have been happily married to the love of my life, Chad, for 9 years! *Our Anniversary is October 7, 2000* We have three adorable children: Gavin is 7 years old (July 13, 2002), Alayna is 3-and-a-half (June 4, 2006) and Cade is quickly approaching 2 (May 20, 2008). I started this blog as a way to keep in touch with family and friends who are far away, to show pictures of the kids as they grow and change. I also use it as an outlet to talk about the things I care about, whether it be mothering, childbirth, Jesus or politics (now there's a list of things that go together!).
